Wishing We Had Chased A Dream

Many of us spend our entire lives wishing we had chased a dream that had been incubating in us since birth. We are constantly, surrounded at every corner, in a society that works to breed nothing but drones and worker ants. Too often, the most talented of us play it safe in an effort to live a “normal” life.

It makes me wonder, what exactly is ‘normal’ ?

Is it making it through 12 years of school, 4 years of college, only to end up at a job we hate and mountains of debt? Is it marrying someone we only halfway enjoy because, at some point, we need to “settle down”? Is it following a religion or belief outside of ourselves so that we never have to deal with the responsibility of taking control of our own lives and destinies?  Is it having something onto which we project our own failures, instead of understanding them as growth opportunities?

At what point do we take the reigns of own lives and live them the way WE deserve to?

When do we take the time to really understand TRUE freedom?

As a life and relationship coach, the bigger I dream, the more I have a responsibility to myself to open the lens to how I view the world. There is someone watching, dreaming big, seeking the inspiration to tell their story. If I can provide that inspiration, I am fulfilled.

I’ve spent so much time at jobs I do not truly enjoy in an effort to be “normal”. At some point, I convinced myself I could never make it as a professional coach, that my story could never be understood by the masses, that I would die broke following my dreams. I was wrong.

I left my job of two years as a manager when it dawned on me how talented I really am. My ability to learn, adapt, and grow. I owe it to myself to do what I love.

You owe it to yourself to do what YOU love.

Wealth goes beyond the material. Our spirits are worthy of abundance as well as our pockets and when you do what you love, you will be overflowed with both. Dream as big as you can. Go hard, or go home.  Do not be afraid to fall, or you’ll never know how it feels to fly.

If you don’t know what your dreams are, or feel it’s difficult to follow your true dream, schedule a free discovery session with me!
