General Questions

Wekaw is your personal coach. Whether it’s a friend/ family relationship, romantic relationship, or workplace relationship, we are always here to listen and help! Our bridging technology anonymously and securely connects customers to our professional coaches. Anyone can talk about anything with over 50 trained, compassionate coaches in our network through phone, video, or in-person sessions. Wekaw is your anonymous best friend who won’t judge, give tailored advice to your situation and is always available!

Wekaw Coaches are trained, experienced professionals. They hold at least a Master’s degrees in related fields such as Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling or have been a relationship coach or life coach for more than 10 years. Each coach on our platform is hand-picked by a member of our team and undergoes an interview, had positive reviews by their clients, peers or industry leaders, and successfully completed several mock training sessions. They are always ready to listen to your story and give the best advice to your specific situation. They understand you, give you the space you need to clear your head, and motivate you to make a positive change in your life.

Yes, absolutely. You can request the same coach, after your first call.

Wekaw Featured Coaches are a few outstanding coaches among our coaches in terms of their coaching experience and service. Please note that Wekaw per session cost is not applied to our featured Wekaw Coaches.

No — Wekaw is not therapy. While many of our Wekaw Coaches are licensed therapists, they are not providing therapy or mental health services. They are acting as life coaches providing dating and relationship advice.

No. There are no long-term commitments or contracts to work with one of our coaches. In fact, if a particular coach is not the best fit for you, we encourage you to try a different coach. Your payment for a session and/or packages of session is subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Yes. You need to be at least 18 years old to use this service.

Wekaw does not provide clinical, medical or mental health services. If you are experiencing any suicidal thoughts, you should immediately dial 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a free, 24-hour hotline, at 1.800.273.8255. If you are seeking help for depression, anxiety or any other mental health issues, you should consult a professional mental health expert.

Wekaw Featured Coaches are a few outstanding Coaches among our coaches in terms of their coaching experience and quality of services. Featured coaches may also offer more variety and personalized services to customers. Please note the general Wekaw coach per session cost does not applied to individual Featured Wekaw coach.

Yes, you can be anonymous when you have a call session with any coach. We want you to feel completely comfortable sharing your concerns and personal information with our relationship coaches. We treat your privacy seriously. We will never share any of your information with anyone. During the sign up process, you have the option of being anonymous and use a screen name that you coach can refer to. For detailed explanation about how we keep your information safe, please refer to our privacy policy.

Yes, absolutely! If you enjoy talking with a specific coach, you can request the same person after your first session. However, the coach you picked won’t be available 24/7. But we are sure you can work out a schedule with your desired coach!

You can change an coach at any time! You can always ask Wekaw customer service before selecting an coach and let us know about your experience. We are always here to help!

You have two ways to voice your concerns. The first is to review the coach and leave a comment after a session. The second is to send us an email at contact@wekaw.com and we will investigate it immediately. Your positive experience is what matter the most for us!

Our coaches should not be soliciting your personal information. They should not contact you outside the scheduled session, in an attempt to engage with you socially or to have conversations outside of the session. You can report this by sending us an email at contact@wekaw.com and we will look into it immediately.

For any of our subscription based services, you can easily cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, though no refunds are provided for prorated periods. For one-on-one sessions, if you are not satisfied with your experience due to an coach’s behavior, i.e. coach wasn’t on time for the session, the session was abruptly ended by an coach, etc., you may contact us within 30 days from the purchase date and we will provide an appropriate credit for your future sessions. You credit will never expire.

Coach Questions

All applicants need to fill out an application form. Once we received your application form, you will receive an email at the email address you provided notifying you that your application is in process. Occasionally, we experience high volume of applications, so if you haven’t heard back from us after a month, we encourage you to send in another application. We accept new coaches on a rolling basis.

If you have been accepted, you will receive a notification at the email address you provided indicating you’ve been selected to the next step and inviting you to schedule a phone interview with a Wekaw staff.

Yes. You can submit a request in writing for an explanation as to why you were not accepted as coach. Requests should be sent to contact@wekaw.com.

If this occurs, please contact us immediately at contact@wekaw.com and we will begin an investigation.

No. You are not allowed to solicit Clients to provide them with any services outside of Wekaw. See coach Terms and Conditions for more information of this policy.

No. Wekaw provides a platform for online educational, advice, and consulting services with respect to relationships and general life issues. As a Wekaw coach, you are acting as an Independent Contractor in the capacity as a life coach. coaches are responsible for filing and paying all taxes related to earnings from all sessions conducted through Wekaw Platform.

No. Clients can only see your general profile listed on our website. They can not see any of your personal information, i.e. phone number, email address, home address, etc. We will never release your private information to anyone without your consent or instructions.

Technical Questions

Yes. Wekaw uses Braintree, a PayPal company, to process payments. We do not store any payment information on our servers. With Braintree, we can accept Paypal and most major credit and debit cards.

Yes. We utilizes Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) encryption for all data exchanged between our users, coaches, and our application. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
